The Document Review Committee reviews DBR's governing documents to ensure consistency with current laws, procedural changes, and BOD decisions; and forwards proposed changes to the BOD for consideration, and member vote if needed. The documents to be reviewed include the Articlces of Incorporation, CCRs, and the Lease.
What this group does
The purpose of the review is three fold:
- Are our documents in compliance with recent changes the State of Washington has made to the Revised Codes of Washington (RCW) Chapter 24.03 under which Discovery Bay Leaseholder Association was registered with the State?
- Do our documents provide for a standard of governance which benefits the Corporation and its members?
- The committee shall make recommendations for potential changes to the membership regarding findings of the committee.
