The committee’s primary function is to implement election procedures as developed by the committee and approved by the BOD. The committee shall develop a timeline, instructions to potential candidates, prepares the ballot for distribution to the leaseholders. Additionally, the committee will ensure security for the collection of ballots, counting, reporting and storing of ballot results after they are certified by the Chair and Secretary of the Association.
What this group does
The Election Committee operates from May to August each season to manage the election process. The committee sets up the time line for:
- Leaseholders to submit their Bio
- Set up a Forum for candidates - check our Calendar for date and time
- Prepare the ballots for mailing
- Supervise the counting of ballots
- Report the results to the Board of Directors at the Annual meeting.
