What is this?

Our Fire Circle is a cherished gathering place in the Park. Members and guests come here to sing and enjoy musical entertainment and drummers’ circles, to tell stories and share memories, to celebrate the Solstices, to make s’mores, and just to recreate and relax with one another.

What's available?

• A large campfire circle built for safety
• Stacked wood for campfires
• Garden hose (extends from lower restrooms)
• Fire extinguisher (in mower shed)

Tips and requests

The fire extinguisher and hose are required for a fire in the fire pit. The hose extends from the back of the lower restrooms, and the extinguisher is kept in the shed with the mowers on the north side of that same building.

If you build a fire, it is your responsibility to remain at the fire circle until the fire is extinguished.

You may donate small pieces of untreated lumber to be used for fires. Please stack donated lumber neatly with other stacked wood.
