What is this?

Affectionately named after Radclyffe Hall, the 20th century lesbian author, this is our indoor community gathering place, used for meetings, meals, parties, game and movie nights and more.

What's available?

• A full kitchen equipped with appliances, utensils, dishes, and pots and pans
• Two refrigerators are available, one for the exclusive use of the Activity Committee and one for Members to use.
• A freezer for the use of Members
• A furnished living room with a large screen television and DVD player. The Club provides a subscription for live TV channels, Netflix and a collection of DVD’s.
• A piano, music stands and some sheet music for our musically talented Members
• Two restrooms including a full bathroom with a large bathtub for Member use
• A library containing puzzles, games, and books of all genres written by both lesbian and popular writers
• A large seating area with tables and chairs for community meals and meetings
• A storage area containing decorations, table cloths and other items for community events
• Wifi is available here

Tips and requests

Any leaseholder is welcome to reserve this facility for a private event when there is nothing else going on. The schedule of events and information about making reservations are available in the Calendar section.

Please label with your name and date any food that you choose to store in the freezer or refrigerator.

Please wash all items you use in the kitchen and replace them to their original drawer or cupboard. If the dishwasher is full please start its cycle.

Towels and wet dishcloths may be placed in the hamper located in the alcove leading to the storage room.

Please thoroughly clean the bathtub after use.

Please put recyclables in the appropriate bins near the sliding door. To prevent rodents from coming into the building, remove your trash when you leave.

When you leave the building please leave the air purifier on and make sure that the sliding door and windows are closed and locked.

Three new light switches with timers have been added to help combat lights being left on accidentally. Each switch has a white button, to the left of the word "woods", that when pressed repeatedly will move through different preset intervals of time that lights would stay on for(the lights will automatically turn off after the selected minutes). Pressing the white button multiple times will also turn lights off manually (see photo below).
