What is this?

Pets at DBR are an integral and beloved part of Park life. There are several dedicated common areas in the Park where our animals are welcomed to run, play and entertain us!

What's available?

• A large, grassy meadow at the northernmost end of the Park (animals may be off leash if they are under the voice control of their human)
• An off leash, fenced dog run on East Street between Second and Third Streets
• A grassy area between the Shop and Laundry Room (animals must be on leash)
• A grassy area from Radclyffe to the Meadow with the exception of a 10 feet perimeter around the Ramada
• A pet bathing area equipped with tub, hose and hot and cold water behind the lower restroom
• The Nature Trail (dogs must be leashed)

Tips and requests

Please note that pets are not allowed in any buildings or in the Ramada.

There are two entrances to the Meadow at the northern ends of West and East Streets. There are Sites occupied by members adjacent to both Meadow entrances. Please stay on the paths leading directly to the Meadow. Out of respect to our neighbors and in accordance with Park Rules, please do not cut through others’ Sites to access the Meadow.

When entering the Meadow and before removing your dog’s leash please check for other dogs using the Meadow to assure they are compatible with your dog.

When walking on the roads in the Park, dogs must be on a leash.

Dogs must be restrained when on your on Site to prevent their leaving your property.

Please do not allow your dog to walk on or use others’ sites as a relief station.

PLEASE PICK UP YOUR DOG'S POOP!!! Bags are stocked by the Pet Committee at several locations throughout the park.
