Tips and Requests

Out of respect for community members who have sensitivities to fragrances, the laundry room is fragrance-free. Please only use laundry products that are labeled “Free and Clear”,”Fragrance Free” or “Perfume and Dye Free”. (Please note that products labeled as unscented may still contain chemicals with a fragrance.)

Washers

Commercial coin-operated washers are available for all members’ use. One load costs $1.25. The washing machines are energy and water efficient and require a maximum of only 1/4 cup of liquid soap. Please do not use powdered soap. Eco-friendly washer sheets may be used in the washers. Especially if you have a pet, please wipe off the rubber gasket in the washers when you are finished. Please leave the machines clean, fur-free and ready for the next member.

Dryers

Our commercial-sized dryers cost 75 cents for the first 45 minutes and 25 cents for an additional 15 minutes.

Please remove your laundry from the dryers as soon as the cycle is finished. In the event that laundry is left in a dryer, it may be removed by the next member waiting to use the dryer.

Change Machine

The change machine accepts both $1 and $5 bills and dispenses quarters.

Clothes Line

The clothes line is located at the south end of the park between the fence along Highway 101 and the laundry room/pool area. Please remove your laundry from the clothesline as soon as it is dried or before sunset.
